Remember the D.A.R.E. program? What if we told parents that all those gateway drug warnings didn’t work the way they thought. This headline driven campaign depicts LeapFrog as the gateway to learning.
LeapFrog "Give into peer pressure" 30 sec spot
SFX: muffled but still noticeable sound of children playing on playground
Child being pressured: *hesitant* I-I don’t know guys….I’m kinda scared…
*Children's’ voices are layered on top of each other*:
Kid 1: Oh C’mon dude just try it! We’re all using it! It’ll totally open up your mind
Kid 2: Yeah, stop being such a baby and just try it already!
Kid 3: Yeah like what’s the worst that could happen? Don’t be a scaredy-cat
Kid 4: yeah don’t be stupid, you don’t want to be the only one not using it.
Child being pressured: *interrupts* Ok! Ok! Fine, I’ll try it…but just this once… *takes depth breath*
SFX: LeapFrog turning on Tag noise
VO: LeapFrog: We Deal in Learning
VO: LeapFrog is a personal learning device for children. Side effects may include increased vocabulary, improved math skills, enhanced problem-solving abilities, and elevated reading levels.
Looking for a great opportunity to use your imagination? Look no further! Imagine the voices in this spot aren't my (very generous) classmates with their voices pitched up, but instead are actual children. Sounds a lot better, right?

In the Minerva Portfolio Program, we are taught to appreciate the value of craft. As such, during our first course in the program, we hand-render all of our executions (nine to be exact). Below are the hand-rendered executions for LeapFrog.
